We are striving to become the easiest to use microlearning and microteaching tool possible. Many features will be coming up, but we do change priorities according to our customers preferences. Please check our newsletter or Facebook page for more feature announcements.

Some lessons have been carefully developed by experts in their field. This costs time and money. We want to give this people a chance to get reimbursed for their efforts, which is why we offert premium lessons.
Every lesson you create will be private per default and only visible to you. If you share the lesson, it is now visible for anyone with the link. If you use it for a group, it is now visible for every member of that group. If you would like to make a lesson public, because you believe many people might benefit, please contact our support.
The language of the app (navigation, menu, buttons etc.) is always English, unless the device is set in German. Currently we offer those 2 languages. However, you are also able to play through lessons which have German content if you adjust it in your profile settings. By the way: Voice Play will not work properly if your device is set in German and you are trying it with an English content lesson.
You can create a study group in less than 2 minutes by going to “Groups” and clicking on “Create”. You will need the e-mail addresses of the participants and a lesson or playlist. You can use lessons which you created for groups.
Unfortunately, that functionality is not yet available. It is planned to be released soon.
A playlist is a collection of lessons. Depending on the settings lessons have to be played in sequence or can be accessed in no particular order.
If you are using voice play with German content on a phone which is set to English, the iPhone/iPad will try to read it nevertheless. This means it will read German as if it were English and that won’t sound good. Please use voice play only if the language of the device is also the same as the language of the lesson content.
Voice play is available for selected content. In the lessons overview there is a small speaker symbol to mark all voice play enabled lessons. You will also see 2 start buttons instead of 1 if you go to the start page of the lesson.
You can share your progress with teachers, friends or parents. Go to “Settings” -> “Result Sharing” to add anyone to the result sharing list. The people on this list will receive an e-mail whenever you finished a lesson, daily or when you finished a lesson successfully (depending on your settings).
You can find your statistics in “Settings -> My statistics”. Please note that statistics are only tracked for users who are signed in.
A lesson can have anything between 1 and 100 questions.
Some smaller devices (older iPhones) sometimes won’t be able to show you the entire question or image without scrolling. This is because the MicroLector app is optimized for iPhone X and newer devices. Nevertheless, all lessons are fully playable with scrolling. If you still have a problem to play the lessons, please contact our support.
Please contact our support and provide the name of the lesson as well as the question text.
The creator of the lesson decides how many are correct. At least 1 has to be correct, but it can also be that 2, 3 or 4 answers are correct.
The question sequence can be random or all in sequence (1,2,3,4..). The lesson creator can adjust this feature.
No. The sequence is always random.
