How to create a lesson on MicroLector – Part 3: Creating Questions and Answers
Video: Creating questions and answers
Step by step: Creating questions and answers
To create a question simply click on “Add question” in the overview.
The sequence to create a question is “overview -> create question -> create answers -> back to overview”
- After clicking on “Add question” you can first create your question. You can also add an image to the question, but it is optional.
- You can then add the 4 answers. One has to be correct (mark it with the checkmark), but all 4 can be correct. Please note that the answers will ALWAYS be shown in a random order to the test takers.
- On the “add answers” screen you can go back to edit the question, save the question or also preview (and play) it.
- There is also a possibility to add a help text. This text can be accessed by the user and will help them to answer the question.
Question types and other tips
QUESTION TYPES
Currently, it is possible to create questions with 4 possible answers (multiple choice).
-> Question as text
-> Question as an image with text
Please note: It is also possible to create questions with image answers, but only via our web uploader. Please contact our team if you would like to upload lessons via the web.
In the future it will also be possible to have “fill in the blank” questions and “true false” questions. If you would like to have these features as soon as possible, please send us a mail.
OTHER TIPS
The ideal image for the question has a 16:9 aspect ratio (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/16:9_aspect_ratio ) , because it will be displayed in that way.
Please make sure never to use any copyrighted image (or an image where you do not have the rights) or we may be forced to delete the image
